Entertainment & Nightlife
It's been a few years now since Glasgow was chosen as 'City of Culture ' but this great legacy lives on and the city continues to enjoy a wide span of art, theatre, film and music.
The majority of the larger theatres, concert halls and cinemas are concentrated in the city centre, though its two most renowned theatres, the Citizens' and the Tramway, are to be found south of the Clyde.

Nightlife!!
Glaswegians certainly know how to enjoy themselves. Glasgow city centre has over 50 clubs, from hip-hop to hard house, Glasgow is the place for night life! That's on top of the 100 or so pubs and bars. Friday and Saturday nights see the streets swell with people moving from one place to another, although you can find some of the best entertainment in Britain on every night during the week. There really is something for everyone in Glasgow , from traditional pubs selling real ales to unique theme bars such as ' Jedi Bar ' - a star wars bar, and 'The Cooler' - a prison themed bar!
Glasgow 's clubs are no different. Serious clubbers can enjoy today's best DJs at Archaos, the Arches, MAS, Alaska and Soundhaus amongst others and those more up for a cheezy night on the town will find exactly what they are looking for in places like the Garage, Fury Murrays, the Savoy, Trash, G2 and the Velvet Rooms. Fans of live music are well catered for with regular live music played at the SECC, the Barrowlands, the Garage, Nice'n'Sleazys, the 13th Note, King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, The Arena, The Plaza, The Arches and many other pubs have regular live music in Glasgow.
